SBA SUMMER ARTS PROGRAM -- 2008

 

The SBA Summer Arts Program is all about creativity. Children explore the creative process through dance, drama, movie making, art, music and more.

The SBA Summer Arts Program is open for two sessions for boys and girls ages 5 through 14. The two week sessions are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (after care is provided for an additional cost from 3:00-5:00 pm)

All students will perform on the final Friday of each session.

The 2008 Sessions are presented:

  • Session1: July 14 - July 25

  • Session 2: Aug. 4 - Aug. 15



The SBA Summer Arts Program offers an opportunity to experience the cultural arts. The program features many aspects of dance, drama, art and music.

Instructed by outstanding guest artists, the program includes:

 

  • DANCE develops student’s awareness of movement and space through the diversity of classes in jazz, modern, tap, and hip hop. 
     

  • DRAMA challenges each student’s creativity and imagination. This program focuses on activities related to various techniques used in performing and movie making.
     

  • ART motivates students through learning the fundamental concepts used in creating visual art. Classes emphasize personal expression as an integral part of the art process.  
     

  • MUSIC  enhances the student’s knowledge of vocal skills necessary for lyric presentation.
     


PAYMENT INFORMATION

Cost Per Session(s): Early Bird Rate (ends March 3): $500.  After March 3: $530. A non-refundable $150 deposit (applied towards tuition) is required for each child by May 5.  The balance is due by the start of each session.

I realize that with any physical activity there is always a risk of accident. I hereby release the Studio of Ballet Arts from any liabilities for injury or damages arising out of personal injury of any kind. I hereby approve my child's/children's participation in this dance program and consent to necessary emergency medical treatment for my child/children on my behalf. To the best of my knowledge, there are no physical or other conditions which will interfere with my child's/children's participation.
